Nicholas  Vukich
DVM

Dr. Nick joined Bay East in January of 1998 as an associate veterinarian and in 1999 took over the roll as co-owner. He is originally from Cleveland, Ohio and still cheers for the Browns! He graduated from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine and moved to Wisconsin to be closer to the sled dog races in for which he is a trail veterinarian. He participates in several races yearly, such as: The Iditarod, Yukon Quest, UP 200, John Beargrease, The Percy DeWolfe, Tequamonon Country Seld Dog Race and The Copper Basin 300. He has two huskies, Barrow (an ex-Iditarod sled dog) and Traveler, as well as a very hairy cat! His special interests include orthopedic surgery and wildlife/exotic medicine.  Dr. Vukich is licensed to practice Veterinary Medicine in Alaska, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, and Wisconsin.(pictured with Barrow & Traveler)
